​                                                                                                    So many people in this world are living the exact opposite of their dream ... living a nightmare of fear and unconfidence and don't know where to turn for help!   I teach people to teach their horses - to create strong partnerships and give horses and humans all the skills they need to live out their horse dreams!!  This method of teaching takes time - it is not a quick fix.  But with patience and time spent, the results speak for themselves!  

Picture:  "Buffalo Gal", Adele von Ohl Parker.   She combined her abilities as a daredevil trick rider with her desire to be an actress and became one of several women who performed on horseback as part of Buffalo Bill Cody's Wild West Show in the late 1900's.  When the show began to lose its draw, and the recession hit in 1929, Adele opened Parker Ranch where she taught horsemanship for the next 37 years .. hosting her own Wild West shows on weekends!

On the Ground

The equestrian world's traditional response to a rider falling from a horse is to "quickly, get right back on!"   But the real secret to being safe and building a true partnership is to start on the ground.  
Whether at liberty or using a line, the possibilities are endless!

In the Saddle

In 2008, after a nasty fall I was afraid to put my foot in the stirrup, my horse was for sale and I was walking away from my life's true passion.  But in the final hour,  natural horsemanship found me and I learned to put a strong foundation on my horses, regaining my confidence along the way. Now I jump out of bed everyday to pursue the endless possibilities available to me in the saddle!  

Pursuit of Sport

Sport is simply the act of testing your horsemanship in a public setting.  While there are many goals that contribute to  a path of progress for horse/human partnerships .. sport can be an enjoyable part of horse life.  The benefits include expanding social circles, challenging yourself with competition and a motivator to stay progressive! There are sport opportunities suitable for any age & stage!
